You automatically have 5 agents available; here's how to unlock the remaining ones.
The free-to-play first-person shooter VALORANT by Riot Games has gained a lot of popularity in the gaming world thanks to its amazing gameplay and intricate strategic elements. The diverse cast of VALORANT agents, each with special abilities, personalities, and histories that add to the game's complexity, is essential to the gameplay experience.
Unlocking these agents is a crucial turning point in your gaming career, regardless of your skill level—whether you're a seasoned veteran looking to learn a new agent or a novice prepared to dive right in.
How to Use and Earn Kingdom Credits in Valorant
Kingdom Credits is the in-game currency that was introduced in episode 07: EVOLUTION. You can earn it simply by playing the game and spend it to get Agents you want in VALORANT.
Earn the credits for various match-making game modes, but you won't get any if your behavior is reported.
Table from VALORANT Wiki
As you can see in the table, you get the most for winning, but you at least get some Kingdom Credits just for playing a round. If you do Checkpoints, that's 150 credits each, so those are the most worth (you can do 4 a day).
If you unlock Agents' Gear, you can get 2 000 from Tier 5 of each one, except not Brimstone, Jett, Phoenix, Sage, and Sova.
You can hold up to 10 000 Kingdom Credits in VALORANT.
4 Steps to Unlocking All Valorant Agents
Step 1
From the main menu, click "COLLECTION" and then "AGENTS" just below it to view your locked and unlocked agents.
Step 2
Click on the locked agent that you wish to unlock. Then, click "ACTIVATE" at the bottom of their picture, which will activate the contract for that agent. Then, press "VIEW CONTRACT" in the bottom right corner.
Step 3
Now you are looking at the contract for the agent. Notice at level 5 (out of 10), you actually unlock the agent. You earn XP for leveling simply through playing games with any agent.
Step 4 (optional)
It does take a fair amount of games to get any agent contract to level 5.
So, if you're eager for your 8th, 9th, and 10th agents, you can pay to unlock contract levels. It costs 200 Valorant points (about $2 USD) per level, so to get from level 1 to 5, it would cost you 1000 points (about $10 USD). Again, this is optional, as it is possible to grind games to unlock all 10 current agents.
I hope this was helpful in your quest to unlock more Valorant agents. Good luck and have fun out there!
